My school doesn't actually give us books to read over the summer. But my favourite book that we've had to read during English class would probably be Goodnight Mister Tom.

I haven't heard of that book but...*does a double take*...no summer reading for school?! How lucky! You're free to read whatever you want...other schools should take a look at your school!

I LOVE Goodnight Mister Tom! It's such a beautiful story, have you seen teh film?
ReplyDeleteWe don't really have books that we are required to read either, but we read Holes by Louis Sacher in class and it is brilliant! :)
I've never heard of that one, sadly, but I guess it depends on where you live and what school, etc. Anyhow, have a great Friday, Rachel! <3
